yh you could be at a table for say 1hr, that means that youve lost alot of money already and by the time that true count of ten comes up and you win you probably just won your stake back, with little or no profit.

  2. Coldplay2085 Says:

wow at 4:37 anything over a true count of +10 u bet higher? that means u have to get a running count of at least 20 thats bull

  3. elmolovescookies Says:

@sonicboom23 that was just hollywood..they usually bar you or ban you and you can’t come back..sometimes however, and so i’ve heard, if your unlucky, since some casinos are corrupted by mobs, they take you out back and maybe break your finger or two as punishment.

  4. retrocareermelted Says:

sooo Whos going to vegas seriously?! Fuck a job

  5. bcpeterbuilt Says:

Funny thing is the casino makes more money off amature cardcounters, belive me ive seen so many people go out and flush $500 bucks right away. 21 has acually made casinos money.

  6. sonicboom23 Says:

now when they say casino’s dont like it, what are they going to do?
In the movie, they show the casino people actually beating the main guy (ben?), now since it is illegal, how do they do that?
Even if it was illegal the casino people cant actually assault the counters.

  7. amarx91 Says:

not everywhere. in new jersey its illegal for casinos to bar your play. you can actually sue them if they do.

  8. 514Dante Says:

you can shuffle track but it is almost imposible you have to practice alot

  9. walshie Says:

Go to a casino please. You are the retard yes.

  10. gricka31 Says:

bullshit. most casinos have 4 or 6 deck games, and they have for a long time. they shuffle the deck and add decks at different points in the game to disrupt the counting

  11. gricka31 Says:

    haha, nice french pronounciation

  12. Mikey1724 Says:

no you have to start counting at the start of the deck, you can’t just jump in a and play anytime because you need to know which cards were played in the previous hands, unless u had a friend that kept count for you the whole time

  13. wheelman1324 Says:

You have to start from the beginning, not the middle or end. If you do start from the middle or end, you don’t know what the count is. If you have like eagle vision or something, you can keep an eye on the table for the card count. Or you could do what the movie did. You can have your friends go to various tables in the casino to keep the count, and when the count gets high, they signal you, say a codename that represents what the count is. Like in the movie, paycheck, or magazine. Throw down bg

  14. singh0116 Says:

so do you have to start counting at the start of the the deck or can u just jump in whenever u want?

  15. 133780 Says:

The dealer isnt the one making the bets.

  16. FliiCiiaa Says:

counting is not banned. it is legal but the casino’s cán ban you from their place lol.

  17. pimpmyride666 Says:

You forgot that it’s just as easy to count in multiple deck games! All you have to do is wait longer and divide the running count by the numbers of decks left in play. That would take simple 4th grade math. DUMBASS!

  18. pimpmyride666 Says:

when the true count is +4 and using the Hi-lo count, it’s mathematically better to stand on 12 against a 2-6 and hit against a 7-Ace.

  19. david1909 Says:

Its called acting dumbass they dont really know how to count…. And counting is now banned. Plus u can’t count anymore cause most casinos have 2 decks now not 1

  20. pimpmyride666 Says:

Another thing you can do is literally count the number of cards that came out and subtract it from the amount the casino had in the shoe to begin with. Then you can calculate better However; this method is not recommended if card counting is hard enough for you.

  21. pimpmyride666 Says:

If these celebrities know this method so well then shouldn’t they be playing at the tables?

  22. magicman3969 Says:

i left a comment but i dont think it worked so ill say it again… what does it mean by good cards like 8, 9, 10 and face cards? what happens if you have like a 12 and the count is +4 or something like that and you hit again… will you get a ten or something?

  23. majasalvador12 Says:

thanks for this movie.. i discovered that there is such a thing as card counting..

  24. rathier83488 Says:

you look at how thick the shoe is and estimate the number of decks.

  25. veralife Says:

Thanks terra for telling people that dealers have to always hit 16 or under never new ty. Always thought to myself doesn’t make sense the dealer also has the same advantage.. but now i’ve realised ty :D . Oh just to let anyone who hasn’t seen the film, if you watch it trust me you’ll love it! I always watch it on my ipod!! never get bored :D . watched it like 20times whole movie in around 25 days!!
