What does it mean when your firewall says this?
Question by jen: What does it mean when your firewall says this?
A computer at IP Address 44.254.194.108 has attempted an unsolicited connection to UDP port 1025 on your computer.
UDP port 1025 is commonly used by the “network blackjack” service or program. The “Black Jack” port is used by many services — it is the first high port available on your system.

It means that the person at the IP Address mentioned is attempting to use a Back Door program to gain access through UPD Port 1025 to establish control over your computer using Black Jack services. Best to block attempt then restrict ip address from any further attempts easy to do with Nortons Internet Security.

Doesn’t mean much. I have had thousands of
“attempts” logged by zone alarm a day when I was on dialup. Now I have a router so its not as bad.

i never use a firewall cuz it slows your computer performance. Get a good antivirus and antispyware programe and you’re secured. but this is a real stupid message.
