If you’re a sports bettor just like me, you are most likely looking for some type of edge that you can get to start winning. Be it on the Internet, newspaper or TV, everybody is giving their opinion. Unfortunately, not everyone will ever agree on which teams to select that week with all of this information. I’ve seen lots of pregame shows and I must say that even the analysts don’t have the same opinion on who is going to win the game.

There will always be people in favor of and opposed to some topic and this does not change when it comes to sports betting just like any debatable topic. The major reason why the sports books make money is that you will never have 100% of the gambling population agreeing on which side or team is going to win that day.

My only sports betting advice is to listen to your own opinion. If you’ve done your homework properly, researched previous historical trends and confirm that there is no vital injuries to report for that specific game, then you’re way ahead of the general betting population. With every information and resources online today, there is really no data or stats that you cannot get your hands on.

Making the correct decisions for that game is sometimes influenced by just your gut feeling. You should always keep in mind that you won’t win every game but if you can win more than you lose then you should show a good profit at the end of the day. Good luck!
