It’s is played alot during races (mostly horses) on television shows and movies. It goes something like this (bear with me) Da Da Da Da Da Da Da Da Da Da Da Da, Da Da Da Da Da Da Da Da. Sorry that’s the best I could do.=(

I think you may be referring to “First Call”, a traditional military bugler’s cadence that has been popularized as the horse-racing theme at the Kentucky Derby (and copied at many other racetracks.)
Here’s everything you wanted to know about horce-race bugling.

The racetrack bugle call is “First Call” (e, g, c, e, e, e, e, c, c, c, c, g, c, g, e, e, g, c, e, e, e, e, c, c, c, c, g, g, g, g, c.)
When I first read the question, I was thinking: “Por Una Cabeza”, the tango by Carlos Gardel and Alfredo Le Pera, 1935

It’s probably the end of the William Tell overture by Rossini. Here is a youtube link: the familiar part starts at 2:42

I’m betting it’s Rossini’s William Tell Overture, because it’s often used with things having to with horses because its rhythm. Even though it’s not even about horses or anything of the sort.

a) It is not a song – it has no words.
b) It has nothing to do with classical music.
