COmpletely love how he keeps his hands inside his pockets, even when he drops.

they actually fall down a heavily padded room below the stage about six feet, or as I say it, their doom below, but in season two, the lowered the drop to three feet so the contestants were instructed to duck and roll so they don’t show up above the stage

Good Night Nurse is an old movie and a pretty popular saying.
But why he said it instead of something else… No idea.

Why did he say goodnight nusre?

Haha, the idea of dropping them into a pool WOULD have been a cool idea! Not necessarily ice water, but a pool would have creative and seems like it would have been safer.
