Because you don’t get anywhere in this world without some special motivation. And I don’t mean Scientology. Some folk would argue that he’s not the best looking guy in town. But he does have other talents, in

been riding for 12 years, going to ride a new horse to possibly show?

October 12, 2010 :: Posted by - admin :: Category - Horse Racing

Question by Leo’s Lady: been riding for 12 years, going to ride a new horse to possibly show?
riding for 12 years, several blue and reds under my belt. lost my racing “bug”, and i have been invited as a part of several ppl to come tryout a young colt, 4yo, warmblood. the owner wants a pretty girl who knows how to ride.
i am a bit nervous, this position as his main rider could mean a lot for my future career. he has several horses, and just fired a rider for beating his stallion. i have met the stallion, i like him. he only owns male riding horses for show, which is good, because i deal better with male horses (i have been around stallions and colts since i was a beginner) the owner says i can teach the colt to do whatever, as long as he is quiet and happy. i hope i get the job. i want to know, what would you do the first time out with a young stallion (beautifully trained i have been told, by many ppl) jump a small jump? canter and lead changes? i may get to show internationally with him if i get the job.

just so u know, i wear a helmet every ride, every time.

A knowledgeable rider will ask several important questions, such as “Who trained him” and “Are there any important issues I should know about?”. This should be done with any horse you catch ride. Then get on the horse and walk him– get a feel for what he is like and use that time to really get him supple against your legs and hands. I’m not talking about kicking and yanking, I’m talking about a subtle feeling of how he likes to respond.

Once this ‘what is he like’ period is over, you should have a better idea of how best to show off this young horse. If he’s a warmblood, I wouldn’t jump him at age 4, unless the owner specifically says the horse is taught to jump now. Your goal is to show you care enough about the horse that you will be a safe and effective rider. Showing off what you can make the colt do won’t probably endear you to any owner who canned the last rider for hitting the colt.

Don’t let the colt get away with anything, but cultivate a willing attitude in him. That is what an owner wants to see.

Question by dodie: Does anyone reallly care about celebraties playing “Poker” on game show network?
This question isn’t important, I know,but I’m wondering why and who cares about watching the so called ” celebrities” playing Poker? They have millions of dollars I’d say and they probably pay for the tv time to be seen. Television sure has changed. Most game shows are so stupid or sexually promoted and doesn’t even interest most people. Well, it’s true–Money Talks—Right?

I was watching this show for the first time the other day and I was just curious as to where they fall, and how far. I haven’t got the whole concept of the game yet, but this is a big part of it.

I heard that’s its an endless pit they fall into. So far… I haven’t heard about anyone coming out of the show that’s fallen into the pit! So I would watch out for that!!

Question about the TV show “National Bingo” it air’s on Friday nights …..?

July 02, 2010 :: Posted by - admin :: Category - Online Bingo

Question by auntkarendjjb: Question about the TV show “National Bingo” it air’s on Friday nights …..?
and you can go online to get bingo cards to play along. To me it looks like it’s prerecorded and not live……so my question is how does the bingo cards I can download even while the program is on, be a winner of a game that’s already played? Wouldn’t they already know what cards they have you print out would be a winner or not?

Best answer:

Answer by letzgoflyerz97
Yes, its pre-recorderd and they know which cards will produce a bingo. They do this so they are able to control exactly how many home winners there are and how many prizes they have to hand out. Your printed cards are essentially a lottery ticket: the outcome is already determined, the prize is low, and you have a small chance of winning.
